Trevor Moore scores twice to lift the Kings to victory over Penguins

Trevor Moore’s second objective broke a tie within the third interval and despatched the Kings over the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3 on Sunday.

Sidney Crosby scored the 498th objective of his profession for the Penguins.

Moore took a lead go from Blake Lizotte and beat goaltender Tristan Jarry on a breakaway at 13:21 of the third.

Moore’s seventh objective of the season helped the Kings win for the third time in 5 video games following a three-game skid.

Drew Doughty, who performed in his 1,000th NHL sport on Thursday, scored his fifth and Alex Iafallo bought his 14th for the Kings.

The Kings, who misplaced in time beyond regulation at Philadelphia on Saturday, are unbeaten in regulation during the last 5 video games. Cal Petersen, who has six wins in his final seven begins, made 24 saves.

Bryan Rust had a pair of third-period targets for the Penguins, who've misplaced three in a row for the primary time since late November. The Penguins final misplaced in regulation Jan. 13 at Los Angeles. They final misplaced in regulation at residence Nov. 27 towards Montreal.

Tristan Jarry stopped 34 pictures for Pittsburgh, which is 17-3-2 since Dec. 4.

Rust bought Pittsburgh to inside 3-2 at 6:17 of the third interval on a turning shot from the underside of the left circle. He tied it with the Penguins’ second power-play objective of the sport, scoring at 10:02.

Pittsburgh failed to attain a first-period objective for the fifth consecutive sport.

Iafallo opened the scoring for Los Angeles at 1:17 of the second interval. He took a go from Anze Kopitar and lifted a slap shot over Jarry’s shoulder.

Crosby made it 1-all at 8:29 of the second with a power-play objective. Pittsburgh has scored power-play targets in seven of its final eight video games.

Moore helped the Kings regain the lead at 10:35 of the second. Jacob Moverare earned his first NHL level with a deep stretch go to Moore, who beat Jarry over the shoulder with a backhander.

Doughty made it 3-1 at 13:49 of the second interval.

Notes: Kopitar has one objective and 5 factors throughout a four-game level streak. He has 5 targets and 12 factors in his final 11 video games total. ... Moore has 4 targets and 16 factors this month for the Kings. Kopitar, in March 2018, was the final Kings’ participant to attain greater than 15 factors in a month.
