The climactic visible is a horrifying but stunning vindication for scientists Dr. Mindy (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Kate Dibiasky (Jennifer Lawrence), who tried desperately to warn everybody. “Taking pictures and modifying the ending was at all times very emotional for me and in addition terrifying. There are numerous totally different layers to it,” says director Adam McKay. “What you see with the comet and the top dinner scene is that they’ve develop into their actual selves. I believe our egos on this media-driven world could make us assume we’re items of crap, higher than God or shining stars. And what you see in that second, every part returns to the scale it’s presupposed to be, which is a meal in entrance of you, the folks you like round you and a sure diploma of humility.”
