To the editor: Not solely is security an issue on Metro trains and buses, however the lack of cleanliness can also be disturbing. A current expertise left me so disgusted with the filthy situations on the Purple/Purple traces that I complained to Metro and several other board members. I've been a champion of public transportation in Los Angeles since transferring right here from the San Francisco Bay Space nearly six years in the past. Now the trains are stuffed with urine, human excrement, rubbish and marijuana smoke. The pleasant cops are nowhere in sight, and there are not any Metro employees save the struggling prepare operator.
