Man fatally shot at Northridge apartment, police say

A person was shot and killed early Friday at a San Fernando Valley house blocks from the Cal State Northridge campus, Los Angeles police stated.

Officers responded to a name of a capturing about 12:30 a.m. at an house within the 18400 block of Dearborn Avenue, police stated. On the scene, they discovered a person, who they described as being in his 30s, affected by gunshot wounds.

Emergency responders pronounced him useless on the scene, police stated.

A witness informed police the person had come to fulfill him at his house, which he shared with the suspect, a 26-year-old man, authorities stated.

After an argument, the suspect grew to become indignant and shot the person, police stated. He fled in an unknown course.

Authorities haven't launched the identify of the useless man or the suspect.
