A person was stabbed repeatedly whereas strolling in Chinatown this week in what seems to be a random assault, Los Angeles police stated.

William Yu, 46, was strolling close to the intersection of Alpine Avenue and Broadway on Wednesday afternoon when he was approached by the assailant, police stated. Yu had wounds in his head and neck, together with lacerations to his groin and abdomen, they stated.
