Russia mocks 'fatigued and forgetful' Joe Biden after St Patrick's Day gaffe

The Kremlin has attacked Joe Biden’s "private insults" geared toward Vladimir Putin, claiming his remarks have been fuelled by irritation, fatigue and forgetfulness.

In latest days, the US President has labelled Putin a "battle prison" and a "murderous dictator".

"We hear and see statements which are truly private insults to President Putin," a Kremlin spokesman stated.

Earlier, the Kremlin described Britain's choice to revoke the published licence of Russian state-backed tv channel RT as "insanity".

Mr Biden has additionally made headlines this week for insulting the nation of Eire throughout a digital St Patrick’s Day assembly with Taoiseach Micheal Martin.
