The Los Angeles County coroner’s workplace has recognized a 24-year-old man who was shot and killed final week by Covina police, prompting a state and native investigation.

Daniel Valdivia was shot by police Saturday evening after a reported confrontation in entrance of a liquor retailer within the 100 block of East Arrow Freeway.
