M5 closed after cider lorry bursts into flames on motorway

The busy M5 has closed after a cider lorry burst into flames.

The incident befell on the northbound carriageway between junction 20 and Junction 19 in North Somerset.

A piece of either side of the motorway have been shut as emergency companies attend the scene, whereas no accidents have been reported.

A spokesperson for Avon & Somerset Police stated: "A highway closure is presently in place on the M5 northbound from between junction 20 (Clevedon) to junction 19 (Portishead) attributable to a automobile fireplace. There aren't any reported accidents.
