Many locations turning into dry with clear spells, though a number of showers returning to some northeastern elements later. A cold evening with a widespread rural frost and a few patchy fog.

Tuesday:

Variable cloud and sunny spells, with the perfect of the sunshine within the west and south. Cloudier within the north and east with an opportunity of a lightweight bathe.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Most locations dry with spells of sunshine, although cloudier in elements of the east. Remoted showers throughout elements of Scotland at instances. Chilly in a single day with a threat of rural frost.

Spells of sunshine will likely be seen later within the week.
