Six individuals who have been trapped inside a Temple Metropolis strip mall when a portion of the constructing’s facade collapsed Wednesday afternoon have been freed, in response to authorities.

The incident occurred within the 9000 block of East Las Tunas Drive, in response to the Los Angeles County Fireplace Division.

Two addresses have been affected by the collapse: 9449 ½ and 9451 E. Las Tunas Drive, stated Sgt. Ed Luna, a watch commander on the L.A. County Sheriff’s Division’s Temple Station.

A seek for these addresses confirmed they belong to a hair salon and dry cleansing store.

Deputies have been first referred to as to the scene shortly after 4 p.m., Luna stated.
