Great white shark plunges teeth into dad and son's kayak before sending it flying in terrifying attack

Daniel Sullivan was out in a kayak off the coast of Hawaii along with his son Tristan when he says the shark attacked them within the “most visceral picture I’ve ever seen”.

The 46-year-old mentioned he was searching for whales along with his son when he “caught his digital camera housing” into the ocean.

Mr Sullivan then describes how the kayak was “struck instantly from beneath and thrown out of the water”.

He mentioned: “As I appeared down on both aspect of my legs had been the jaws of a large nice white shark – it was essentially the most terrifying visceral picture I’ve ever seen.”
