To the editor: America has been blessed with heroes being in the appropriate place on the proper time. (“Liz Cheney’s rules have been displaying on the Reagan library. So have been her politics,” Opinion, July 1)

At present, that hero is Rep. Liz Cheney, a conservative Republican from Wyoming who's carrying the torch to avoid wasting our democracy. With the Home Jan. 6 committee, she is interviewing witnesses who've data of illegal exercise within the White Home through the tried coup. She has revealed info to the American folks on simply how shut we got here to dropping our freedoms.

Cheney is making the supreme sacrifice, placing her congressional profession and standing as a celebration chief on the road. It’s not about her celebration affiliation; it’s about love of nation, love of democracy and demonstrating what it means to like being an American.

To the editor: Columnist Nicholas Goldberg was not the one non-Republican in attendance when Cheney spoke on the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. My spouse and I encountered no less than two different Democrats in attendance.

Goldberg’s report on the assembly is very correct, together with mentioning the foolish and sophomoric shouts of the demonstrators outdoors the library.

One of the vital memorable feedback that Cheney made in her speak was relating a remark made to her by a Democratic member of Congress: “I can hardly wait till that is over in order that I can begin disagreeing with you once more.”

To the editor: The value to be paid by former White Home aide Cassidy Hutchinson for offering testimony below oath will undoubtedly be important. Having your character, sense of responsibility to nation and integrity brazenly disparaged by former President Trump and his loyal followers can't be discounted as merely the worth one pays for not staying silent.

As compared, Hutchinson’s former boss, ex-Chief of Employees Mark Meadows, suffers no such scrutiny whereas leaving his subordinate absolutely uncovered to no matter assaults come her approach as a result of his continued silence and refusal to testify. It does deliver new that means to the usually cited directive “lead by instance.”

Granted, nobody is suggesting that looking for a conscience whereas lacking a backbone is straightforward.
