Lincolnshire Police arrest 22-year-old man on suspicion of murder following death of of nine-year-old Lillia Valutyte

Lincolnshire Police have confirmed the arrest of a 22-year-old man on suspicion of homicide.

The arrest comes following the demise of nine-year-old Lillia Valutyte in Boston.

The police confirmed they aren't anybody else in reference to the incident.

In an announcement, the Lincolnshire Police mentioned: "We've got arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of homicide. He's now in police custody.

Officers detained the person within the Boston Central Park space at round 2.45pm as we speak (30 July).

The arrest follows a mixture of intelligence and knowledge provided by a number of members of the general public. We’d prefer to thank everybody for his or her help as we proceed our investigation.

We aren't searching for anybody else in reference to this incident.
