North Yorkshire Police are interesting for data after three youngsters had been killed in a collision close to Bedale.
In a sequence of tweets the power stated: "Round 11pm final evening a gray Alfa Romeo was concerned in a collision on the B6268, Masham Street close to Thornton Watlass, Bedale.
"The car containing 4 younger males and was travelling from Bedale in the direction of Excessive Burton.
"At this stage, we do not imagine every other autos had been concerned. Sadly three passengers inside the car, a 17 12 months previous man and two 18 12 months previous males have died because of their accidents.
"The 18 12 months previous male driver sustained critical accidents and is being handled in hospital.
"We're interesting for anybody who witnessed the incident, noticed the car within the space previous to the collision or anybody with dashcam footage or different information that might assist the investigation."
