Tom Daley to carry Queen's Baton in support of LGBT rights for Birmingham Commonwealth Games

The Olympic gold medallist, 28, will be a part of gymnast Max Whitlock and boxer Galal Yafai as official baton bearers through the opening ceremony on the Alexander Stadium on Thursday.

Additionally carrying the baton throughout its closing steps will probably be British Paralympian, junior physician Kim Daybell and retired hockey participant Alex Danson-Bennett.

Daley will run in help of LGBT rights whereas Yafai, who's from town, is supporting younger individuals.
