Examination bosses are contemplating recording the outcomes of pupils who establish themselves as non-binary in a separate class.
Presently, examination outcomes throughout the UK are collated in girls and boys classes.
However JCQ, the physique that represents examination boards, say they're considering bringing in a 3rd class for non-binary college students.
It comes following talks between JCQ and LGBT charity Stonewall, in addition to discussions involving the examination firm and stakeholders.
