Just Stop Oil protesters arrested after damaging fuel pumps at M25 service stations

9 individuals from Simply Cease Oil have been arrested in Surrey after allegedly damaging gasoline pumps and gluing themselves to forecourts on the Clacket Lane and Cobham service stations on the M25.

Surrey Police stated they have been “working as shortly as we will to take away the protesters from the service stations”.

There's at the moment no petrol out there at both station as a result of harm, together with on each side of Clacket Lane.

The three arrests have been made on suspicion of prison harm.

“We admire the disruption that is inflicting and we're working as shortly as we will to take away the protesters from the service stations,” police stated.

A press release from the group reads: "At present’s actions will put additional strain on petrol and diesel provides for the south-east forward of the August Financial institution Vacation weekend.

"These have been halted from the Navigator and Grays depots in Essex and the Kingsbury terminal in Warwickshire yesterday.

"A collection of tunnels, occupied by Simply Cease Oil supporters have been constructed below entry roads to the depots leading to freeway closures and the disruption of provides.

"The supporters of Simply Cease Oil will proceed the disruption till the federal government makes a press release that it'll finish new oil and gasoline initiatives within the UK."
