The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have adopted a beagle known as Mamma Mia.
The seven-year-old rescue canine joins fellow beagle Man and a black Labrador considered named Pula at their household house in Montecito, California.
The Los Angeles Instances reported that Mamma Mia was rescued together with 4,000 different beagles by federal authorities in Virginia in July.
Shannon Keith, an animal rights lawyer who runs the Beagle Freedom Undertaking, advised the newspaper: “The Duchess known as me personally.”
She added: “She calls on my cell with no Caller ID and says, ‘Hey Shannon, that is Meghan.”
