Brush fire closes Highway 330 near Running Springs

A brush fireplace that broke out Friday within the San Bernardino Mountains had consumed at the least 50 acres by late afternoon.

The Manzanita fireplace was burning close to Freeway 330 and Forest Street 1N09, about 9 miles from Working Springs, San Bernardino Nationwide Forest officers mentioned.
