King Charles III and Camilla, Queen Consort visit Scottish Parliament for motion of condolence

The King and the Queen Consort have arrived on the Scottish Parliament, the place tributes will shortly be paid to Queen Elizabeth II as a part of a movement of condolence within the debating chamber.

Ms Sturgeon stated Scotland “stands prepared” to help King Charles III as he continues his mom’s legacy of public service.

“We're honoured by the presence right this moment of His Majesty, King Charles III, and The Queen Consort,” she stated.

The King spoke about Queen Elizabeth II's "biggest admiration for the Scottish folks".

He stated: “I do know that Scottish Parliament and the folks of Scotland share with me a profound sense of grief on the dying of my beloved mom.
