King Charles III and his siblings have returned to St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh for a vigil beside the Queen’s coffin.
The King, the Princess Royal, the Duke of York and the Earl of Wessex took their locations on the 4 sides of the oak coffin.
They stood alongside 4 suited members of the Royal Firm of Archers, who had been standing guard wearing long-feathered hats and armed with arrows and quivers.
A procession of members of the general public queuing to view the coffin on Monday night was briefly paused to permit the royals to take their locations.

Earlier on Monday, the King was joined by different senior royals on foot, as they adopted the hearse carrying his mom's coffin from the Palace of Holyroodhouse in procession to St Giles’ Cathedral.
