Nicola Sturgeon reads first lesson of Ecclesiastes during thanksgiving service for Queen Elizabeth II

Nicola Sturgeon has learn the primary lesson of Ecclesiastes 3: 1–15 throughout a service of thanksgiving for Queen Elizabeth II.

Talking on Sunday, Ms Sturgeon spoke of the “unhappy and poignant second” as Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin travelled from Balmoral to Edinburgh.

In a tweet, Ms Sturgeon stated: “A tragic and poignant second as Her Majesty, The Queen leaves her beloved Balmoral for the ultimate time.

“At present, as she makes her journey to Edinburgh, Scotland can pay tribute to a unprecedented lady.”
