Coolio reprised his role for ‘Futurama’ revival before he died

Late rapper Coolio will probably be featured in an upcoming episode of the “Futurama” reboot that he recorded weeks earlier than his demise.

The “Gangsta’s Paradise” emcee, who died Wednesday at 59, will reprise his position of Kwanzaa-bot, the subversive sequence’ Kwanzaa counterpart to its Santa Claus Robotic and the Hanukkah Zombie. The rapper recorded each new music and authentic dialogue for the animated sci-fi comedy’s 2023 revival on Hulu, in line with sequence government producer David X. Cohen.
