Family pays tribute to ‘handsome’ boy, 15 who collapsed and died in city centre restaurant

The mother and father of a 15-year-old boy who collapsed and died in a metropolis centre restaurant have paid tribute to their "good-looking” son.

Emergency providers rushed to Browns restaurant on Paradise Road, Liverpool at round 5.50pm on Saturday following experiences that a young person had collapsed.

The boy, now named as Euan McNamara, was taken to the Royal Liverpool College Hospital however later died.

Euan’s mother and father, Michael and Sian McNamara have now paid tribute to their son following his dying.

The assertion, issued by Merseyside Police on behalf of the mother and father, stated: "On Saturday teatime, after a day’s procuring, we had been at Browns restaurant in Liverpool as a household with our son Euan, daughter Megan and shut buddies when Euan unexpectedly collapsed.

“Regardless of instant medical intervention by off-duty medics, Euan later sadly handed away in hospital.

"Euan was a much-loved son, brother, grandson, nephew and buddy. He was finding out for his GCSE exams, a eager rugby participant, cricket participant and LFC Supporter, repeatedly attending video games with household and buddies.

"Euan was cherished and adored by all who knew him and his dying has left a large void in all of our lives. He was a good-looking, loving, caring boy with an infectious character that touched everybody he met.

“We're devastated by what has occurred, and hope that within the forthcoming days we are going to discover out why Euan has been cruelly taken away from us.

"We as a household please request that our privateness is revered at the moment."

A police spokesperson stated following the incident: "Emergency providers had been referred to as to Browns Restaurant on Paradise Road at about 5.50pm following experiences that a young person, who was with household and buddies had collapsed.

"A variety of members of the general public and employees on the restaurant had offered medical help previous to the emergency providers attending.

"The teenager was taken to the Royal Liverpool College Hospital the place sadly he died a short while later.

"The dying will not be believed to be suspicious, and a file is being ready for the Coroner.”
