Three Simply Cease Oil activists have been arrested on the Mauritshuis museum in The Hague after one particular person tried to attach his personal head to Johannes Vermeer’s Woman with a Pearl Earring.
Video revealed to social media exhibits two males stood infront of the art work carrying Simply Cease Oil T-shirts, with one putting his head in opposition to Vermeer's portray, and the opposite showing to pour soup over him.
The museum confirmed in a press release that the work is behind a glass and had not been broken by the demonstration, saying: "Artwork is defenceless and the Mauritshuis strongly rejects making an attempt to break it for no matter goal".
It comes after Simply Cease Oil activists have sprayed paint on the facade of two luxurious automotive showrooms in central London.
Protesters started spraying paint from a fireplace extinguisher over the premises of high-end sellers Ferrari and Bentley on the nook of Berkeley Sq. and Bruton Road at 8.30am on Wednesday.
The Metropolitan Police arrested two individuals on suspicion of felony injury in relation to the protest.
The power tweeted: “Protestors have sprayed paint on the Ferrari and Bentley garages in Berkley Sq. at 08:39hrs.
“Met officers have been quickly on scene and at 08:46hrs, arrested two individuals for felony injury.
“They've been taken into custody to a central London police station.”
It got here because the marketing campaign group continues its month-long sequence of protests because it calls on the Authorities to halt all new fossil gasoline licences.
The group says police have made 585 arrests since they started their motion at the start of October.
Seven Simply Cease Oil demonstrators have been arrested on Tuesday after spraying paint on to the facade of 55 Tufton Road in Westminster because it focused the headquarters of local weather sceptic assume tank International Warming Police Basis.
