Suspect wanted after pedestrian and dog struck in hit-and-run in Oakville


Halton Regional Police are looking for a suspect after a male pedestrian and his canine had been struck in a hit-and-run in Oakville final week.


It occurred on Dec. 21 on the intersection of Taunton Highway and Oak Park Boulevard between 5 and 5:20 p.m.


Police stated a male sufferer and his canine had been struck by a automobile whereas crossing the road. The automobile didn't cease on the scene and has not been positioned, in keeping with police.


The male was handled for his accidents in hospital. His canine was additionally injured and fled from the scene. It has since been positioned and returned to its proprietor, police stated.


The male suspect was allegedly driving a white SUV and is described as being between 35 and 45 years previous with an unshaven beard.
