The person who allegedly threw eggs at former Toronto Mayor John Tory’s workplace in February is now dealing with prices.
The incident happened on Feb. 17 round 6:20 a.m. on Tory’s final day of workplace.
On the time, Tory was sitting at his desk studying a newspaper when somebody threw three eggs at his window.
Two of the eggs hit the glass whereas the final landed on the wall of the constructing.
Toronto police confirmed to CTV Information Toronto that a suspect was arrested and appeared in court docket on Thursday on a cost of mischief beneath $5,000.
The cost has not but been confirmed in court docket.
The egging happened as Tory was concluding his closing metropolis council assembly to go the price range, which was repeatedly interrupted by protesters. He resigned after admitting to having an affair with a staffer.
